The South entrance to the old Stockbridge Market, Edinburgh was designed c.1825 by Archibald Scott on the model of the Liverpool Market. It included goods like meat, poultry, fish, and vegetables, aiming to replicate the atmosphere of a country town market. It was never a great success and closed in 1906.
